Charity Of the Month | East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices

This month we recognise the amazing work local charity; East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) do for children and families in East Anglia. EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

About EACH

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices deliver all-encompassing, lifelong care which includes a range of services for both bereaved and non-bereaved families. Depending on the family’s needs and wishes, the charity can provide care in one of their hospices, in the family home, or in the wider community. Their life-long support includes specialist nursing, therapies, and ongoing well-being care if required. Their aim is to provide the best quality of life for babies, children, and young people.

The charity has several hospices located in East Anglia, offering safe, effective, well-led and responsive care to children, young people and their families. The Nook is the newest and largest of the three hospices and is located in Norwich and is equipped with seven bedrooms as well as accommodation for families for overnight stays. Located in Cambridge is the Milton which has six bedrooms and four overnight family rooms and their third hospice The Treehouse, located in Suffolk has five bedrooms and accommodation for families. All three hospices also include a sensory room, hydrotherapy pool, music studio, play areas and more.

Why Did We Choose to Support EACH?

At CIM we are passionate about supporting our local community. EACH provides support to families during difficult times and has numerous stories from families they have supported and cared for which is a testament to their vital support.
